Healthcare Linen – ‘The best place for a meeting between warm, damp and bacteria”
The aged care industry is a massively growing industry in Australia as Australia’s ageing population is projected to grow to unprecedented levels.
In the area of infection control with linen there is little or no training currently available directly aimed at the end use on the ground staff in these facilities. These sites have a large turnover of staff and can be in remote areas where training is not available.
Infection Control is a deadly business in an area where our most vulnerable and sick part of our population live. You only have to be a regular reader of the headlines to see another outbreak of an infection in aged care.
